The UNM Foundation is seeking an Assistant Director of Development to join our development team for the UNM College of Fine Arts. We seek a highly creative member for our team who is motivated by a challenge and willing to work in a team environment.

The position is responsible for and/or coordinates a variety of associated administrative and planning activities. Individual Giving Program Manager
Duties include overseeing individual fundraising and donor stewardship and managing volunteers and vendors in accomplishing outreach and fundraising efforts. Collaboration will be a key feature of this position to meet the goals of increased revenue, heightened member engagement and improved fundraising systems capacity.

Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and collaboratively, use discretion when working with confidential information and be extremely detail oriented. Must exhibit strong analytical, organizational and motivational skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum requirements: bachelor’s degree with three years experience or associate degree with five years experience. Must have advanced MS Word and Excel skills, annual fund experience (major and planned giving preferred), demonstrated skills in development, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, experience managing volunteers and ability to build virtual relationships.

Events Coordinator
This full-time, salaried entry-level position reports to the Business Development Director and is responsible for hands-on planning and logistic implementation of AISES National events; corporate research and data management activities, and assisting in the development of print and electronic promotional materials.

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for meeting sales goals for national events.

Two years event/trade show/meeting planning experience or equivalent administrative experience involving event planning and printed materials development. Excellent verbal/written communications, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. Reliability and ability to manage multifaceted projects, meet project deadlines and be attention to detail. Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with web-based applications. Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with Native American issues a plus. Moderate travel.
