AFP New Mexico Chapter Members:

As you know, the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy depends on members, chapters, board members, corporations and other friends to generate the resources to fund AFP strategic initiatives that advance philanthropy through ethical and effective fundraising. We do this to achieve our mission to enhance philanthropy and volunteerism through programs of education, research and service that benefit those who lead, serve and support nonprofit institutions.

The 2008 fundraising goal for the “EVERY MEMBER CAMPAIGN” is $1.1 million and the NEW MEXICO CHAPTER IS ENCOURAGED TO ASSIST IN ACHIEVING THE GOAL!!! Please see the 2008 Funding Priorities below for a list of programs and services our “EVERY MEMBER CAMPAIGN” supports.

NEW MEXICO CHAPTER:
In 2006, 35 members (about 24%) of our chapter pledged and funded $3,102.47.
In 2007, 26 members (about 18%) of our chapter funded $2,279.96.

In 2008, it would be great to see an increase in BOTH the number of members giving, and the total dollars raised by our chapter.

# increase: If our goal is participation by 30% of our 154 members, that’s about 50 members – WILL YOU BE ONE OF THEM!!!!????
$ increase: Are we as a chapter willing to commit to raising $3,500? That’s a 13% increase from 2006, and a 25% increase from 2007.

100% board participation: As a board, we strive to meet AFP’s goal of 100% board giving

Please consider a gift to the “EVERY MEMBER CAMPAIGN!"
You can give quickly and easily online at www.afpnet.org by selecting “Make a Gift” on the Quicklinks menu on the right side of the website page.

Thank you for your support of AFP and our mission. We are honored to have you as a member of our chapter, and encourage your participation in the “EVERY MEMBER CAMPAIGN.”

Sincerely,

Pamela Chavez
